why choose Boss Drivers Academy
The graduated licensing system in Ontario is designed to improve road safety and minimize risk by helping you become a safer, responsible, and more effective driver. All drivers in Ontario must complete this process by graduating from a G1 to G2 to G licence to become fully qualified drivers.
This requires you to complete a series of tests. Successful completion of a written test will award you a G1 licence. Passing the G1 road test will get you a G2 licence. This usually takes 12 months, but with a certified driving school, you can fast-track your way to a G2 licence in just 8 months. And 12 months later, you’re eligible to take the G2 road test and progress to a full G licence in Ontario.
But graduated licensing is a bit complex. You must meet specific criteria before facing each test. There are also rules and restrictions that apply to each licence category. So, it’s important to understand the basics of Ontario’s graduated licence system before you get started. But an experienced driving school could help you navigate it swiftly with confidence and ease in the shortest possible time.
